The first season of Shark Tank India closed it’s curtains with 67 startups raising a total of INR 41.98 Cr in funding b by pitching to the investors on the programme which are referred to as ‘Sharks’.

The first edition of the TV programme saw 65,000+ applicants applying for early-stage funding from the sharks.  The program was brutally competitive and only 67 out of these 65,000 finally got funded.

The show has been super successful in India and has made start-ups buzzword in almost every Indian family.
